The document provides for the development of penitentiary scientific schools, patriotic, spiritual, moral, cultural and civic education of employees, cadets and students.
The agreement was signed by President of the interregional public organization ‘Scientific Penitentiary Club’ Alexey Baranov and Head of the Vologda Office of the Union of Criminologists and Criminologists Roman Nagornykh.
Alexey Baranov stressed that the agreement is a confirmation of the common goals of the two organizations. According to the head of the club, mutual work will bear fruit and contribute to the development of science.
I hope that the cooperation of the Union of Criminalists and Criminologists and the Scientific Penitentiary Club will be close and friendly. We will try to attract new members to our ranks to solve important scientific, practical and legislative issues in the field of jurisprudence,» commented Roman Nagornykh.
Among the main areas of cooperation: organization of cultural and scientific events aimed at assisting in the work of penitentiary services, preservation of historical memory and the formation of an active life position among the younger generation, as well as the development of legislative initiatives and proposals to the legislator. Special attention will be paid to the study, generalization and dissemination of penitentiary institutions positive experiences.
In addition, within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to involve in these activities leading penitentiary scientists, representatives of law enforcement agencies, state authorities and employees of educational and scientific organizations.
The solemn ceremony of signing the cooperation agreement took place on the basis of the Vologda Institute of Law and Economics of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.
