On 4 October 2022, President of the Union of Criminolalists and Criminologists, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honoured Scientist of the Russian Federation Igor Matskevich became a winner of the 2022 Russian Government Awards in the field of science and technology for training and retraining of personnel for high–tech industries of the defence industry.’
Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin presented prizes and certificates of honour of the Russian Government in the field of education and technology. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Higher Education and Science of Russia Valery Falkov.
In his address, M. Mishustin noted that the implementation of the Russian Ministry of Higher Education and Science ‘Priority 2030’ programme continues.
‘More than 120 universities, almost two thirds of them regional universities, took part in this programme. Over 15 billion roubles were allocated in support. State financing will allow them to open student technology parks and business incubators and upgrade their laboratories,’ the Prime Minister said.
The winners were 35 applicants, among them employees of organizations under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The Government awards were presented in eight areas of comprehensive scientific and methodological developments.
