Vice-President of the Union Alexaner Zvyagintsev visited the new exhibition of the museum “Victory Train” dedicated to the work of military tribunals over the Nazis

On 23 January 2023, the renewed composition of the traveling exhibition of the museum “Victory Train” was met in Moscow.

The event was attended by the State Adviser of Justice of the 1st class, Honoured Lawyer of the Russian Federation, Deputy Director of the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vice-President of the Union of Criminalists and Criminologists Alexander Zvyagintsev.

Before that, a presentation of the performance-reconstruction “History Lessons: For the Present and the Future”, staged by students of the Moscow State Linguistic University (MLSU), was held in the hall of the Belorusskaya railway station.

The performance is also interesting because it is held in three languages: English, French and German — with simultaneous translation into Russian. And vice versa. Before the performance, the audience was addressed by: Rector of MLSU Irina Kraeva, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Konstantin Mogilevsky and writer, historian Alexander Zvyagintsev.

 

The new “Victory Train” carriage is dedicated to the work of the military tribunals carried out in Nuremberg, Tokyo and Khabarovsk — thanks to which the whole world learned about the atrocities of Nazi Germany and militaristic Japan.
