🗓 On 7 June, members of the Youth Department of the Union of Criminalists and Criminologists held a lecture for the wards of the rehabilitation centre “My family centre “Transformation”.
The lecture was devoted to juvenile delinquency and responsibility for it.
The teenagers were told about the ratio of delinquency and crime. The topic of juvenile delinquency and ways to prevent it was also highlighted. Statistical data for recent years were demonstrated and the criminal legal aspect of juvenile criminal responsibility was explained.
📍 Thus, the youth found out how many crimes are committed by minors annually and how often a relapse occurs.
📍 Within the criminal law aspect, the concept of criminal responsibility, punishment, as well as the circumstances that are taken into account when imposing punishment was revealed. A comparative table of the maturity dates of criminal records for minors and for persons over 18 years of age was demonstrated.
📍In addition, an interactive game was played in which teenagers learned the basic terms from the Criminal Code of Russia, such as:
- Crime
- Relapse
- Criminal record
- Prevention, etc.
