On 30 May 2020, the Round table was held on the topic: «Countering the popularization of destructive subcultures of extremist orientation in the youth environment using new technologies».
The Round table was organized by the Union of Criminalists and Criminologists of the Russian Federation, the Interregional Youth Public Organization for the Development of Innovative Systems and the Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL).
Representatives of Perm, Voronezh, Zabaykalsky Krai, Yekaterinburg, Buryatia and a number of other regions of Russia, scientists and practitioners involved in ensuring national security against cyber threats related to the spread of destructive ideologies in the Russian Federation took part in the Round table via videoconference.
Key destructive subcultures of young people, the reasons for their spread, ways to identify them on the Internet using search engines as well as methods of organizing work to create alternative positive content for youth in social networks were discussed and critically analyzed.
