The Jury, while evaluating scientific works and speeches, once again noted the extremely high level of all works without exception. For this reason, as in the previous year, it was decided to nominate several additional contest categories in order to award a larger number of participants in the Round tables.

Topic: ‘Women honour’ killing as a factor in the murder of a newborn child by a mother.

  • Relevant research – Alina Khairutdinova, Lomonosov Moscow State University

Topic: The problem of criminal legal qualification of murder committed by a person in a situation of domestic violence.

  • Best scientific performance – Abdulkadir Magomedov, Lomonosov Moscow State University

Topic: Countering domestic violence in foreign countries on the example of France and Lebanon.

According to the results of the scientific papers open defence on 15 April 2021, the winners became:

  • 1st place –Saniyat Khasbulatova, Madina Kuliyeva, Surkhaykhan Tamazaev, Dagestan State University

Topic: Forced marriage in Dagestan as a factor of family violence.

  • 2nd place – Tatiana Basik, MSAL

Topic: A woman as a victim of domestic violence committed by a partner.

  • 3rd place – Elisaveta Grishina, Yana Chernikova, MSAL

Topic: Domestic violence against women in Russia.

  • 1st place – Irina Semenova, Lilia Makhmutova, MSAL

Topic: Crisis centres as a subject of domestic violence prevention.

  • 2nd place – Kantemir Taov, Polina Lobanova, MSAL

Topic: Countering domestic violence.

  • 3rd place – Yana Pakhomova, MSAL

Topic: While everyone is at home: domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic.
