The monograph ‘Childhood safety: Social problems and legal ways to solve them’

This year, under the editorship of Oleg Yu. Rybakov, Doctor of Legal Sciences and Philosophy, Professor, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology at Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL), member of the Union of Criminalists and Criminologists, with the participation of experts in crime science and forensics, a monograph ‘Childhood safety: Social problems and legal ways to solve them’ was prepared and published.

This work is devoted to a comprehensive review of the juvenile safety phenomenon, as well as analysis of existing threats, risks and unresolved problems in this area. Special attention is paid to the dangers emanating from the information environment, scientific and technological progress. The work examines both current Russian legislation (as at December 2020) aimed at ensuring child safety and foreign experience in solving problematic issues of the direction under study.

The monograph will be of interest to a wide range of readers: teachers of all levels of education, psychologists, law enforcement officers, scientists in legal, psychological and pedagogical fields, as well as students at relevant universities.
