A separate hall is dedicated to the «Requiem» project. It defines a tragic note and tempo-rhythm of the entire exposition. This effect is enhanced by famous Soviet artists’ numerous paintings and drawings placed on the walls of the Museum, which they made during the work of the Main Trial of humanity. Here, on several stands, there is a specially selected collection of books of great rarity that tell about the People’s Trial .

A new book by A.G. Zvyagintsev is also presented at the Museum.

Vladimir V. Putin, President of Russia:

Today, our common goal is to counter the glorification of Nazism, firmly counter attempts to revise the results of World War II and consequently fight any forms and manifestations of racism, xenophobia, aggressive nationalism and chauvinism.

Today it is important that people in different countries and continents understand what horrible ramifications can be brought about by confidence in one’s being exceptional, by attempts to achieve doubtful geopolitical aims by all means as well as by neglect of basic human rights and morality.

We must do everything to avoid such tragedies in the future.
